Learning Dados

This side couch table was a build I did to learn a new type of joinery, Dados. I did alright with it, definitely have to be careful about not cutting too much material off. I think in the future I will be building a jig to ensure I cut the exact amount I need and it is consistent with all my other pieces. All in all, it is still a very strong build even without it being exactly perfect. The fit was perfect by the wall, and underneath it ended up being a good place to store shoes!
